I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your assistance with my Gown Preservation Kit and for making
a gift of it to me. When I saw that our house had flooded due to Katrina, one of the first things I thought
of was my wedding dress hanging in the closet. Thankfully, only the hem was wet & soiled and I was able to give
it a rinse in the tub to get the worst of it out, but I have been anxious to
have it professionally cleaned to make sure any damage from exposure to mold and mildew will be arrested.
It is so kind of you to help me protect my beautiful dress, particularly now that other mementos of
our wedding (including the place where it was held!) have been lost. When the day comes that I pass my dress on to a
loved one, I will tell her about the goodness of the two women who helped to keep it safe for her. And it goes
